Aditi Sabhlok, M.A. is an advanced practicum extern supervised by Ginny Fullerton, Ph.D. Aditi graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, and worked for several years as a clinical research associate at the Duke ADHD program, coordinating research studies related to early environmental effects on cognition and ADHD. She is currently in her fourth year of the Clinical Psychology doctoral program at the University of Texas at Austin, where her primary research interests are examining the relative genetic and environmental contributions towards the development of disruptive behaviors in middle childhood and adolescence. During her graduate training, Aditi has worked with children and families to treat attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), and disruptive mood dysregulation disorder (DMDD) using parent management training (PMT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and social skills training, in individual and group formats, via both in-person and teletherapy milieus. She has also gained specific expertise treating social anxiety, generalized anxiety, and depression using CBT. Aditi is passionate about working with children, adolescents, and their families using developmentally sensitive, collaborative, and strengths-focused approaches to evidence-based treatments, tailored to the specific needs of each individual or family. She is very excited to be a part of the COAP team this year!
