Biography
Emma (she, her, hers) grew up in San Diego and attended the University of California at Santa Cruz, where she majored in Psychology. Following graduation, Emma worked in a lab as a research assessor at the Veterans Affairs San Diego Healthcare System studying Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and substance use comorbidity. Now, Emma is a fifth-year graduate student in the clinical psychology doctoral program at The University of Texas at Austin, where she earned her M.A. in Psychology in 2019. As a graduate student in the Laboratory for the Study of Anxiety Disorders, Emma is currently working on augmenting treatment strategies for PTSD. At COAP, Emma is a Licensed Psychological Associate practicing under the clinical supervision of Ginny Fullerton, PhD, as she furthers her interest and understanding of the importance of adapting and applying evidence-based practice to meet the needs of individuals and families. Emma’s clinical interests include anxiety disorders, PTSD, OCD, and depression.
