Extern Therapist
Megan (she, her, hers) is a practicum extern, providing services at COAP under the supervision of Ginny Fullerton, Ph.D. Megan received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at The University of Florida and is currently a fifth year in the School Psychology doctoral program at The University of Texas at Austin. Following her undergraduate training, Megan worked as a research assistant at the University of Florida’s Center for OCD, Anxiety & Related Disorders where she coordinated clinical trials for pediatric obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety, depression, and Tourette's syndrome. Megan’s graduate training focuses on disseminating and implementing evidence-based treatments for underserved youth in school and community settings. At UT Austin she has gained expertise in parent training for disruptive behavior disorders and anxiety, conducting psychoeducational evaluations, and consultation. Megan has worked in a variety of educational and medical settings and is passionate about expanding youth access to mental health care services. She is interested in tailoring effective treatments to best serve children and their families and is enjoying her second year on the COAP team!
