Sarah Koenig, PhD
We're thrilled to welcome Sarah Koenig, Ph.D. to the team! Dr. Koenig earned her M.A. and Ph.D. in School Psychology at the University of Texas, where she completed research and clinical training under Dr. Kevin Stark at the Texas Child Study Center. After an internship at Columbia University Medical Center, New York Presbyterian Hospital, she returned to Austin to complete a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Texas Child Study Center and Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin. Dr. Koenig brings valuable experience in treating OCD, anxiety, and associated problems with CBT approaches across settings. Her experience in medical and educational settings has prepared her for effective collaboration with other disciplines when psychological services occur in the context of complex problems. Committed to providing evidence-based services to families, Dr. Koenig is certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and similarly incorporates her training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) when indicated.
