Thien-An Le, M.S.
Thien-An Le (An, for short) is a Licensed Psychological Associate who is joining the COAP team in August 2020. An received a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from Wofford College. She continued to earn a Master of Science degree from the University of Central Florida, where she is currently working towards her Ph.D. She completed her APA-accredited pre-doctoral residency as well as an additional year of supervised experience with Baylor College of Medicine, Texas Children’s Hospital, where furthered her experience treating anxiety disorders, disruptive behavior disorders, and addressing medically complex adjustment. Throughout her training, An developed a program of research and clinical work focused on the implementation of evidence-based treatments for anxiety disorders across the lifespan, with an emphasis in youth populations. She has specific experience treating anxiety disorders in outpatient clinics, hospital settings, and intensive outpatient (IOP) clinics. Her clinical child specialties include OCD, social anxiety, selective mutism, and other anxiety-related disorders. With adults, An has extensive experience treating combat-related Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, other anxiety disorders, and depression. She is enthusiastic to collaborate with clients and families to create individualized treatment plans to help them meet their needs and values.
