Ginny Fullerton, PhD
Ginny Fullerton, Ph.D. founded Capital OCD & Anxiety Practice in 2016 after a decade of specialized clinical experience. Dr. Fullerton earned her M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Houston in 2007 following her residency at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Kennedy Krieger Institute, where she concentrated intervention and consultation-liaison service for children with medical conditions and developmental disabilities. With early career experience at Baylor College of Medicine, The Menninger Clinic OCD Clinic, and McLean OCD // Houston (formerly Houston OCD Program), she developed expertise with OCD and anxiety across all ages and levels of care while maintaining an affiliation with Memorial Hermann Hospital, Department of Pediatric Neurology to support children with special needs. She currently serves as the President of OCD Texas, a local affiliate of the International OCD Foundation. Dr. Fullerton has published research findings and presented at numerous international and local conferences on evidence-based treatments and assessments and is committed to broadening awareness of treatments that work.
Dr. Fullerton offers consultation to professionals and families when OCD and/or anxiety represent a piece of a larger puzzle and offers consultation and supervisory services.
Local therapists are invited to attend Dr. Fullerton's monthly consultation group at no cost. Attendees would need to complete an agreement form and confirm interest in advance. Professional supervision and consultation is also available individually.
