Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Statement

Capital OCD is deeply committed to advancing inclusive and equitable services within our clinic, community, and field. We highly prioritize providing and facilitating access to culturally competent care, maintaining respect and appreciation for race, color, ethnicity, age, national origin, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, ability, socioeconomic status, religion, spirituality, immigration status, and other aspects of identity.  We strive to foster positive change in the lives of all individuals and are dedicated to providing a welcoming, open, and trustworthy space to discuss, explore, and learn. Moreover, we aim to increase our inclusivity and visibility within marginalized and underserved communities. At Capital OCD, we actively promote inclusivity and equity by responding with informed empathy, completing ongoing training in cultural competence, collaborating and consulting as a team, and further partnering with community organizations.

This DEI statement will guide all of our professional endeavors, including hiring practices, employee benefits, training experiences, the client experience, and our clinic's workplace culture.
