Biography
Luke Collier, PsyD (he, him, his) is Licensed Psychologist in Texas. He joined Capital OCD & Anxiety Practice in 2021 after completing his doctoral internship at The Ohio State University's center for counseling and consultation services. Dr. Collier earned his MS and PsyD in counseling psychology at Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA. While in his doctoral program, he completed his dissertation focusing on improving the effectiveness and adherence to OCD treatment through the use of mindful interventions.
Dr. Collier serves as the Director of Education for OCD Texas, where he works to increase access to evidence-based OCD care by sharing information, resources, and training with mental health professionals. He has worked with individuals across the lifespan in hospital settings, university counseling centers, and community-based settings, and has experience treating anxiety disorders at the outpatient, intensive outpatient (IOP), and partial hospitalization (PHP) levels of care. He is trained in Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) and is committed to evidence-based care, clinical supervision, and professional education. Dr. Collier values strong therapeutic relationships and close collaboration with individuals and families to best meet their needs.
