Biography
Dr. Marissa Ramirez received her doctorate in Child Clinical Psychology from the University of Washington and completed internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University School of Medicine Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Dr. Ramirez draws on extensive clinical and research training to deliver high-quality, evidence-based interventions tailored to each individual’s needs. She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based treatments for children, adolescents, adults, and parents. Known for her warm and collaborative approach, Dr. Ramirez creates an encouraging environment to help clients and families achieve meaningful change.
Throughout her career, Dr. Ramirez has trained and worked at leading academic medical centers including University of Washington/Seattle Children’s Hospital, Stanford University School of Medicine/Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital, and USC Keck School of Medicine. She also brings a wide range of experience from virtual mental health startups, private practice, outpatient community clinics, and from serving as a research therapist on randomized clinical trials (RCT’s). Her diverse professional background provides her with deep expertise in assessing and treating a wide spectrum of child and adolescent mental health conditions.
